Think Spring! (Spring Biking, That is!)

Friday, February 15th, 2013

Before you hit the pavement or the back woods trails, make sure you and your bike are ready for the ride.

Join Dr. Bruce Hamilton Dick, a Sports Medicine expert from St. Mary’s Center for Orthopaedics as he explains how to train and condition yourself for “biking season.”

Dr. Hamilton-Dick has an extensive background both as an athlete and in sports medicine. He was a nationally ranked triathlete, working with Ben Serotta at the Serotta International Cycling Institute. He has also worked with athletes in the U.S. Olympic Field Hockey Association, the Boston Red Sox, and the Worcester Ice Cats professional hockey club.
John Grenier from Rainbow Bicycle on Lisbon Street in Lewiston will be on hand to answer your questions about biking. He’ll even bring a couple of bikes and discuss how to choose the best type for you!

This free presentation will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The event will be held in the Lepage Large Conference Room at 99 Campus Avenue in Lewiston.

Seating is limited so please call 777-8481 to reserve your spot today!

The event is sponsored by St. Mary’s Center for Orthopaedics and Rainbow Bicycle.
