New Orthopaedist Joins Dr. Wayne Moody at St. Mary’s Center for Orthopaedics

St. Mary’s Center for Orthopaedics welcomes David Wexler, MD, FRCS(Tr&Orth).  Dr. Wexler’s expertise in the lower extremities compliment the Center’s renown total join replacement specialist, Wayne Moody, MD.

Dr. Wexler earned his medical degree at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School, University Of London in London, United Kingdom. He completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona.  For the past 10 years he worked at Northern Penobscot Orthopaedics, Millinocket Regional Hospital in Millinocket.

During his 23 years as a surgeon, Dr. Wexler training included various subspecialties providing a broad experience.  His main focus now is lower limb joint reconstruction.

“We’re so pleased to have Dr. Dick on our team,” said Dr. Moody.  “He expands the scope of our service. We have our patients covered from their ankles to their shoulders.”

With Dr. Wexler on board, it’s now easier to get an appointment at the practice.  St. Mary’s Center for Orthopaedics is located at 2 Great Falls Plaza in Auburn.  You may reach them at (207) 333-4710.
