Be the best athlete you can be and prevent personal injury. Join the care team at St. Mary’s Center for Orthopaedics for a free presentation on strength and conditioning. Strength and conditioning helps to increase speed, agility, and overall power. During this presentation, you will learn about the role of strength training as a part of your total health, training techniques, and setting and achieving goals. Leading the program will be Bruce Hamilton Dick, MD and Kelly Hilton, ATC from St. Mary’s Center for Orthopaedics and Jeff Eckhouse, a personal trainer from Mobile Fitness.

Dr. Hamilton-Dick has an extensive background in sports medicine, including an Orthopaedic fellowship consultant to the Boston Red Sox and Worcester Ice Cats professional hockey club. He was also Director of Sports Medicine for the U.S. Olympic Field Hockey Association during the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia and the Director of Sports Medicine at the University of Connecticut.

This free presentation will take place on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The event will be held in the Lepage Large Conference Room at 99 Campus Avenue in Lewiston.
