Breast Care and Cancer Detection

According to the American Cancer Society, about 296,980 women and men will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. Leading a healthy lifestyle and having regular cancer screenings are steps you can take to prevent or survive the disease.

Join clinicians from the Breast Health Program and the Radiology Department at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center as they discuss the different modalities to detect breast cancer (mammography, MRI, and ultrasound). Dr. James Place, Radiology Medical Director, Cindy Brousseau, RTR (CV), Director of Imaging Services, and Dotty Guild, RN, Breast Health Program Coordinator and Patient Navigator will share their expertise and answer your questions during the presentation on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Lepage Large Conference Room, 99 Campus Avenue in Lewiston. The presentation will begin at 5:30 pm.
