On Friday, September 20, 2013, St. Mary’s Nutrition Center will host the 8th Annual Chefs ; Grilling Great Food! This year, with inspiration from Chef Paul Landry of Fish Bones American Grill in Lewiston, the Soirée will feature grilling local meats and vegetables. Paul has participated in the Chefs Soirée since 2006. The culinary creativity he brings to this event and along with his great sense of humor promise to make for a memorable evening. This year we welcome Chef Kevin Cunningham of The Inn at Brunswick Station, who will lend us his talent and expertise.
The evening begins at 5:30 pm with a social hour and an array of hors d’oeuvres followed by cooking demonstrations by the chefs. There will be breaks in between each of the four courses so guest have an opportunity to mingle and enjoy libations selected by Susan Hall of The Vault in Lewiston.

Proceeds of the event will support the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center (NC) and its programming. The NC was founded by St. Mary’s Health System in 2006 to promote community health through organizing, advocacy and education. The Nutrition Center recognizes that a complex web of social, economic, community, and environmental factors determine a person’s health. It serves as a hub for healthy food initiatives across Lewiston/Auburn and the Androscoggin County area.
